Easy Install

Easiest way to install PineSAM is using a premade binary package; does not require installation of python, node.js, or other dependencies.

Just download the latest release for a specific OS name and follow the steps below.

Mac or Linux

• Extract the downloaded zip file for Mac or Linux from here.

Run in a terminal

./start.sh

• On MacOS, http://localhost:8080/ opens in your browser automatically.
• Some Linux distros may need http://localhost:8080/ opened manually.

Windows

• Download the zip for Windows from here.
• Right-click the zip > properties, if it has an Unblock option, then unblock and extract the zip (reference).

• Run Pinesam.exe.

• Accept any pop-up warnings (reference).

• Open http://localhost:8080 in your normal browser (the page will not open automatically).
